Receiver FCC for Fixed Length File

Hi,

Target structure is as below

Header

*******ABC

***********field1

*******BCD

***********field2

field3

filed4

Header is repeating, i don want to repeat field3 and field4 so i kept both at header level.

I dont want the field3 and field4 to appear in the o/p file.

Simply don't map these fields in the mapping.

Hi,

problem here is that field3 and field4 dont have any parent element ,both are at header level , header is repeating and i dont want field3 and field4 to repeat so i kept both at header level. now i dont want field3 and field4 to appear in the o/p file.

i want only field1 and field2 to appear.

please help.

Hi,

Since you don't want field3 and field4 to appear in the o/p file, then simply don't map it.

you can ingnore the field3 & field4 in FCC just by giving their length as zero.

Hi,

If you don't want to populate those fields then don't map those fields (this fields occurance is 0). One more option is we can disable that fields by right click on that fields and click on disable Field.
