Read-Only mode

Hi,

When I access the Content Admin, I can't create any PCD objects. It says Read-only mode. You do not have permission to edit this object.

What permissions do I require other than the content admin role?

RN

Raghava,

Looks like you content admin role does not have authorization to create content in the PCD. Once you logon to the portal, navigate to the PCD folder, right click and open permissions. There you could either add, content administrator role, after searching and SAVE. You could also choose your userid and SAVE the changes. But ensure that you also have the enduser checked againist the permissions that you are adding.

Cheers!

Hi ,

Try the same steps as mentioned by Sandeep in System Admin -> Permissions-> Portal Content -> Portal Administrators -> Locate the Content Admin role in Content Administrator Folder .

Give Full Control to content_admin_role .I think this should work.

Raghava,

I guess you dont have permissions as a Content Administrator. Assign yourself a super administrator role or login with the superadmin role and perform the steps mentioned earlier.

Cheers!
