RAP Custom Entity & Analytical application

Hello Experts,

I was working on the old ABAP report which converted as CDS and exposed via OData v2.

From BTP ABAP, I have consumed above service then displayed the content in the Fiori Element List report page via Custom Entities. 

One of the columns in the report contains amount field and I would like to show the aggregated output on the same.

Is this possible to do so in this case, if not could you please suggest an alternative approch for this requirement ?

can you please be a little bit more specific. Your question is not clear at all and thus there is no way to help you.

Which report ? Shall I guess ?

I a custom entity you can code anything so it should be possible to build sums as well.

Sorry for confusing.

Let us ignore the report.

I have CDS views created from on prem system and would like to consume in BTP ABAP using custom entity.

If I need to aggregation for a column (eg. amount) then how can I do it in Custom entity ? As we use pagination while request the data from op system

Thanks for your reply!

I would like to ask one more thing. I was trying to consume Odata which is version 2 only from the on premise system.

But seems aggregated/groupby functions are not supported and I am unable to consume the same.

Is there any alternative approach to achieve this use case ?
