well.... you are not using SSO with logon tickets but DEFINITELY using SSO with user mapping !!

based on your message your gateway host and authentication type is BLANK ???

run the wizard and find out the errors...

Never use IP for the gateway host ..use the FQDN and for the authentication type choose UIDPW ..

HI murali

Just give the following proeprties for

Application Host :sbc00.sbc.com

Gateway Host :sbc00.sbc.com

Gateway Service :sapgw10

no need of giving port 8010

and your system number you have given as 10

so your server port must be 3210

please make this changes and test it

run the SSO Wizard (Note 1083421 - SSO2 Wizard) which will help you setup the trust between the portal and the backend..

Hi,

WAS connection is through

but if i test ITS

i am getting error /sap/bc/gui/sap/its AND_ITS_CONNECTION_TEST_DETAILS_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAIL.

Connector Test:

Connection failed :Make sure user mapping is set correctly and all connection properties are correct.

i have done user mapping also

At this point of time i am not using SSO.

what may be the reason for connection connection getting failed

Hi,

For ITS properties...

Host name: itshost15.xxx.yyy.zzz:1015 (<fully qualified host name in

domain>:<port number> - should be fully qualified domain name

similar to portal)

Path: For ITS 6.20 use "/scripts/wgate", and for ITS 6.40 leave

the ITS path blank (see also note 922481)

Protocol: "http" or "https"

check this...

Hi Murali,

Once the system alias is defined we need to map the user to that particular system. Navigate to User Management„³Identity Management (This is in EP 7 ) Find the user and define the login credentials for the system which has been defined.

check this...

Uday.
