"Query ID" input to a User Exit Variable

Hello,

On refreshing a BEx Workbook, we would like to pass the “Query ID” (Workbook->Properties -> Information Tab) as an input parameter to a user exit variable for further processing.

The user exit variable is planned for use across multiple queries and the queries in turn across multiple workbooks. Thus it is important that the input of “Query ID” is passed on workbook refresh only.

Thanks in advance for your input on this issue!

Regards,

Anil

hi Anil,

i think you are looking for I_S_RKB1D-COMPID,

COMPID is the technical query name.

hope this helps.

Hello,

Sorry, I have to rephrase the question.

I am actually looking for Workbook ID (WORKBOOKID) and the Work sheet # (SUBNR) (available as fields in table RSRWORKBOOK) to be passed on as the input parameters to the user exit. Currently it is only the query id (GENUNIID) that seems to be coming across thru the structure.

How easy or difficlt is it pass on these fields as import parameters to the user exit function module?

Can these fields be then used by the user exit at runtime?

Thanks,

Anil
