Hello There,
I am trying to call my SAP Test System from my WebDynpro Application via RFC Bapi - Call.
This worked fine until last week but then suddenly I can't make any connection to the SLD anymore. The error message in the browser says:
The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:

The SLD / RFC Connection is already configured and it worked fine until last week
Everything worked fine. But then suddenly there was this error coming up. I
Any ideas or help is greatly appreciated and points are awarded!!!

Hey,
I think your first problem seems to be your sld Connection, make sure that this works fine.
Actually the sld user can not be set to unlimitied expiry, thats a regular problem we face.
Than check the connection in the Visual Administrator and make sure that all settings
->SLD Data Supplier-> HTTP Settings and RFC Settings are valid.
Than the CIM Client Generation should work.
Hope that helped a little,
Kind Regards
Christof

Hi,
Check if SAP is up.
Also check the JCO connections in WebDynpro administrator.

Hi,
If u have any problem to open the above link then u can follow the following steps.
Follow the step as below for SLD connection setting-->
1. Log in to the Visusal Administrator
2. Go to the Server-->Services
3. Go to the SLD Data Supplier.
4. Under Runtime Tab change the Host name , port name and Username and password for the Http Setting and CIM Client Generation Setting sub tab.
5. After this just restart the SLD data service.
Thanks
