Hello, I was checking the procedure for BW Live connections:
1. I have a S/4HANA 1610 version. Is this version compatible with SAP to configure connectivity with SAC? Please confirm If I can use this version for S/4HANA connectivity with SAC.
2. In the link below, step "2c", appears one image which is selected in a red rectangle. There, appear 8 items from auth until ValueHelp. My question is if all these items need to appear there, because in step "e", are mentioned only 6 services them to be activated.
3. Is it necessary a separated SAP BW to configure this procedure?

Prerequisites
There is a link mentioned assciated to "SameSite Cookie Configuration for Live Data Connections." Is this obligatory So is neccesary that ABAP administrator need to realise this steps ...correct?
>> Yes, the SameSite configuration is important because your BW domain will use cookies for authentication and session management. Without this configuration, these cookies will be considered a third-party cookie by your browser, meaning the domain of the cookie doesn't match the SAP Analytics Cloud domain and blocking them.
General procedure
Step 1 mentions to use URL according ABAP server and Client ID , questions:
1 Where do I test that URL in the same network where the S/4HANA is located?
>> If you would like to test that, you'll need to be in the same network as ABAPserver. You'll be prompting for the credentials and after that you should get a JSON response.
2 What happens if I dont receive an answer? Is neccesary to activate something before in the S/4HANA system? or the step 2 is related to this requisite?
>> Yes, you need to make sure that all required services are enabled under the transaction SICF, according to step 2.
Configure CORS on your ABAP Application Server
1.There is a Note: If you are using SAP NetWeaver ABAP AS version 7.52 or above, you must apply SAP Note 2531811 or import ABAP 7.52 SP1 to fix CORS related issues, and then follow the steps below.
In order to understand ..is this related to SAP Netweaver versions 7.52 and newer ? For example I want to test this in versions S/4HANA 1610 with NetWeaver 7.51 , and 2022 with NetWeaver 7.57
>> There is a correction only for NW 7.52 version. In versions 7.51 and 7.57, however, no actions are needed.
2. In step 3 "Add SAP Analytics Cloud to the HTTP allowlist" in part b the option "Scenario to HTTP Allowlist Scenario" appears but I select that but the item "Cross-origin Resource Sharing" is not appearing, should this item appear itself? Or do I need to call him by another way?
>> If you go back to steps 1 and 2, you will see 2 options to enable CORS on your ABAP server. The first one disappear after a restart of the ABAP server and the second one will permanently enable the CORS but you will need to restart the ABAP server.

Hello Thanks for the responses, little doubts about some of them:
1. >> Yes, the SameSite configuration is important because your BW domain will use cookies for authentication and session management. Without this configuration, these cookies will be considered a third-party cookie by your browser, meaning the domain of the cookie doesn't match the SAP Analytics Cloud domain and blocking them. Correct, Understood
2. >> If you would like to test that, you'll need to be in the same network as ABAPserver. You'll be prompting for the credentials and after that you should get a JSON response. To clarify the idea: I work in a company (Company A) that has a SAC environment, We don't have a S/4HANA server, so we will to rent it to another company (Company B), the idea is to connect our SAC tenant with the S/4HANA server located in Company B, so the test for the link should be realised in a computer located in company B Is correct? not in A location . I asked that because my SAP Logon (In Company A) connect well to S/4HANA in Company B. but the access to the link fails maybe for port issues, etc.
3. >> Yes, you need to make sure that all required services are enabled under the transaction SICF, according to step 2. Yes, the services appear in the list, my question was related to if the step 1 "Check that your InA package is enabled" is dependant from the step 2 , I mean, I need to test the step 1 only if the step 2 is realised , or the step1 can be tested /verified by other action not mentioned in this procedure.
4. >> There is a correction only for NW 7.52 version. In versions 7.51 and 7.57, however, no actions are needed. Correct, Understood.
5. In the procedure Configure CORS on your ABAP Application Server , step 1a mentions : "Access your SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW system using SAP Logon." If I use SAP Logon to connect S/4HANA , Am I login to SAP BW as is mentioned in this step? because I can see the options mentioned. I m not expert in SAP ERP nor BW but I could find several optiosn mentioned in the guide.
Best regards
