Query View Where Used

Hi Experts,

if i have a technical name of a query view,

how can i know all the WAD reports (web templates) that uses that query view?

is there an option from the BEx or a database table or any other way?

hi ,

For your requirements , you can get the details in the metadata repository .

1. Go to tcode - RSA1 .

2. Go to metadata repository .

3. then select query view .

4. It will give you all the query views present in your system .

5. Double click on the query view , it will give you the objects ( Webtemplates , queries ,) where it is being used .

Regarding Query View,

The query view represents a drill down state of a query and it can be saved with the query save button by selecting view

and A query view is some kind of a "snapshot" on changed settings of the original query.

This might be adding or hiding key-figures or characteristics, defining filters or conditions and exceptions....

You can open this views directly without repeating navigational steps in the initial query and changing it.

You can create a query view in the save dialog in BEx with 'Saving View Global'.
