Query variable modification transport

I modified a query variable description in RRMX and a change request (let's call it CR1) gets created. But I wonder if I should go to RSA1 Transport Connection to add the variable to CR1? and how? I used to do this before quite a while ago and don't remember. Anyone's answer is greatly appreciated!

Kevin,

If a transport entry was created on chaing the query, then you should be OK. Don't need to go to transport connection.

To be on the safe side, collect the query in the transport connection and find the variable. Transport in wihch it has been included should be listed.

If you want to check in the transport, then take the elemtn ID fo the variable from table RSZGLOBV and look for that in the transport under R3TR/ELEM/<Variable Element ID>

I go to RSA1 Transport Connection and locate the query variable and find that the CR number I mentioned above is listed under the column of Transport Request, that means I don't have to take any action, right?

I also go to SE09, find the CR number, but find the following under it:

I can't tell if it contains the variable or not from the above lines.

Hi Kevin,

As you mentioned that against the varaible you can see your request number, that confirms that it has been included in the transport request.

You can decipher the element GUIDs using table RSZELTTXT. But I think that transport connection confirmation is good enough.

Hi Kevin,

Just check in se09 if in the CR you created the variable exists or not.

Otherwise goto Transport Connection and add it.(probably from query components).
