Query changes do not reflect on workbook

Hello everyone!

I have a workbook comprised of several queries.

When I make a change in one of them (making it suppress zero values, for example), that change does not pass onto the workbook. It just keeps showing the zeroes, no matter how many times I refresh the workbook.

The thing is, when I execute the query directly, it works!

Anyone knows why this happens, and how I can fix it?

I'm on BW 7.0 SP13, and the workbook and queries were created with Bex Analyzer (SAP BW 3.x).

Best Regards,

Luís Andrade,

Hi,

maybe you can try following ...

in workbook properties, check if the flag set return to query global definition by refresh ... if not, you can set this flag and refresh the workbook again. afterwards, the new query changes should be reflected ... then you unselect the flag and save the workbook again.

If it is not working, send the message back to me.

hope it helps.

Sally

Hi Luis,

I have faced a similar issue.

I am not sure about the reason for this , however, as I workaround, I inserted the query into the workbook again(insert the analysis grid with the data provider having the query name) and then saved the workbook on theserver and the next time onwards it was working fine.

Hope it helps.

Sunmit.
