Hi Gunasekhar,

FrequencyStatus-IDOC: This describes as to how many data-idocs can an info-idoc contain.

For example, frequency 1 means, that there is an Info IDoc for every data IDoc. In general, you should choose a frequency between 5 and 10 but not greater than 20.

By default it is set o 10 i.e 10 data-idocs per one info-idoc.

Partition size : It is nothing but how many records a partition should have in the PSA. If you set it to 50000 a partition will be created for every 50000 records.

By default the partition is set 1 lakh records.

Hope this helps,

Regards

Hi:

The other response notes that this setting determines how frequently an informational IDOC is sent - this impacts how often the monitor is updated.

This setting has no impact on partitions, as PSA partitions are governed by a threshold value. The default is 1 million records. If you have the default set, when a data load starts, the system checks if the number of records in the current partition are greater than or equal to the threshold value (ie 1 M or greater). If so, a new partition is generated.

If you are working with SAP NetWeaver 2004s BI, please check note 1012607 about PSA partitions and datasource settings.

Thanks for any points you choose to assign.
