Promotion Manageent Wizard Time Filter

I'm using the Promotion Management Wizard to migrate content from a 4.1 SP6 system to 4.2 SP7 patch 2. I had planned on doing a final "delta" migration using the time filter the evening that we take the system live, so I've been testing to make sure it does what I expected. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to. It appears that the date filter looks only at the main objects (folders, reports, etc.) and does NOT look for new instances or new/updated schedules. Is there any way to migrate only objects that have new/updated schedules and instances?

Priyanka, I used LCM_CLI to do this. The instructions for this are in the BOBJ Administrator Guide. You'll want to do this on the new system to pull from the old system to make sure that properties get updated as needed.

Hi Dell,

The only way to do this is to use the LCM CLI and customize the SQL statement in the properties file to select only the object that you need (according to the changed timestamp).
