Hallo all,
here's another one: starting a project on EP6.0 gives me the following error:
[PortalComponentContext.getProfile] Profile provision failed.
At first I thought that the project is corrupt and set it up again, in order to upload it.
Then I figured with another project that this error message somtime appears and disappears without me finding any regularity.
Did anyone come across this message? If yes, how did you solve it?
I greatly appreaciate any hep on this.
With best regards,
Helga
Interesting!
It appears very frequently though. Deleting the uploaded .par file and uploading it again sometimes helps. Sometimes the portal give a strange message saying something like:
"Dispacher running, but is disconnected from the IIS."
After a couple of minutes the IIS seems to automatically restart and everything is running as usual.
But still, for some reason I have not found out yet, this behaviour repeats itself.

ok,
disconnected from IIS? You mean Microsoft IIS? And ISS restarts? Seems a network problem.
Check all your settings of IP Adresses and server.port settings in IIS and J2EE configtool esp. from dispatcher and server. Turn off autoupdate.
If this doesnt help, open a OSS message , you will get some remote support then.
I really never had this in any project.
