Hi Rableen,

Try to give unmount on partition of Storage or ask for you infrastructure administrator to run CHKDSK /R /F on your disks.

Thanks.

Hi Rableen,

Try to do a ScanDisk with Repair mode if your OS is Windows or FSCK for Linux or Unix.  chkdsk /r /f

It can helps, We had faced the same issue.

So, Down all services of DB2 and SAP.

And try to open CMD and run the command chkdsk /r /f  on your disk partition that you have problem, maybe K:\.

Open you CMD

Give the command >

K:

K:\\>chkdsk /r /f

and choose yes.

and Please Return back if everything is ok.

Thanks.

From sap we got the reply as below....

so, it is clear that there is something holding these logs, so the

database cannot write to them and so it stops as the database first

checks if it can write to logs before it starts up.

Please ensure not to copy or move any active logfiles while the db is

online as this can cause inconsistencies in the logs.

Please restart the server machine to clear any file access and then

try to start the db and sap system.

But no copy was going on ....

and we don,t have antivirus also.

Hi

is the server spontaneously rebooted? Probably the some system is mounted as read only. Or, there is a hardware error on your disk/storage.

- Try to create a dummy file on each database filesystem.

- If possible, Reboot the server and perform an "fsck"

Hope this helps you
