Connections to DBN=utility_db should support simple MESSAGE ... TO CONSOLE statements to allow application-generated progress messages and diagnostic text to be recorded in the dbsrv17 -o filename.txt file.
The server -o files are very important for debugging problems, even more so in a High Availability setup. By their very nature connections to the utility database are both rare and usually extremely important, and they are worth a few MESSAGE statements to record their progress.
