Hi all,
We have recently migrated from 2.0b to 3.0b version and
we are in the process of converting all the event chains
to Process chains.we have infopackagegroups which loads
the masterdata.If anyone could help out in the steps how
the infopackagegroups can be converted to process chains
it will be of much help.Also how the jobs can be converted to process chains.Any help is appreciated.

I can see RSPC_MIGRATE_INFOPACKAGE_GROUP in se37....what o i do to help me convert ip grp to process chain

RSPC_MIGRATE_INFOPACKAGE_GROUP(to convert infopackage group to a process chain)
RSPC_MIGRATE_EVENT_CHAIN ( to convert an event chain to a process chain)

a job that uses many programs to start the
event chain.how can i use that job
in to the processchain as the start process.I
am a kind of new to chains.

Hi Greatflower,
To convert your InfoPackage groups to process chains, get into your InfoPackage group and there is a button for Process Chain Maintenance. It will ask you to give a name for the process chain, and will place the InfoPackages into the chain. With Process chains you can then also integrate other functions like roll up, compression and master data activation. For more info you can look at teh following:
