Problem with sapbex.xla macro

HI,

I've a problem when I try to connect with sap bex 3.x. I'm working with windows 7 x64 and with excel 2010 (I've the same software in other pcs and I haven't had problems until now). I get the following error:

cannot run the macro "sapbex.xla!toolsStatus".

I've reinstalled excel 2010 twice but the problem is the same and, the macros are enabled.

Can anybody help me?

Hi,

Please check the installation go to the bex analyzer menu, Business explorer -> Installation Check.

Once the excel sheet opens, press the start button to start the check.

Check the entries in red to see any missing/old ocx, dlls.

And also check your patch level If still issue comes sap note has to implement, i am not getting note no.
