Hi,
In our project, we use S/4 HANA Public Cloud together with SAP Analytics Cloud as the planning tool. In S/4 HANA, project costs can be booked on different WBS levels of the WBS hierarchy. For example, as can be seen in the screenshot below, €400 is booked directly on Fase 1 (44-000001-01) and €455 is booked on the leaf node of Fase 1: AIO 1 (44-000001-01-01). Therefore, as is shown in blue, the total costs booked on Fase 1 is €855:
When using a live connection in SAC with the specific Custom Business Objectfrom S/4, the data can be shown in the exact same format:
However, the data cannot be mapped correctly whien using an import job via the Project Planning in SAC business content (https://rapid.sap.com/bp/scopeitems/2YG) with the following specifics:
Model: SAP__FI_BPL_IM_PROJECT
Import query: A_JournalEntryItemBasicQuery
Dimension: SAP_ALL_PROJECT_WBSELEMENT
In the screenshot below, the dimension with the specific WBS elements is shown in more detail:
Although the member ID’s are a leaf node in the first hierarchy of the WBS dimension, the following issue is shown during the import of the journal entries:
Column "WBS Element" has the following errors: Not a leaf node
Does anyone has any experience with S/4 bookings on different WBS hierarchical levels and their import in SAC?
Hi Dennis,
This can be resolved more information here https://apps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/en/2803423
We faced this same issue with WBS and Org Units in HCM and resolved this using the import model.
If you have got the answer to your question and make the right answers easier to find, please mark the best answer and close the question. Thanks!
Good Luck,
Afshin
