Hi All ,
When i try to open NWDS .. it stats up and all of a sudden it is getting closed .. it is not giving any error .. where to find the log for NWDS ??
Regards,
Ravi
Probably the last used workspace is corrupted. Try to create a shortcut for starting NWDS and add parameter "-data <workspace_location>" to start with a new workspace. Or try adding "-clean" to rebuild the plugin cash.

Hi Ravi,
You can reach to the log file thrgh the following path...
C:\Documents and Settings\<user directory>\Documents\SAP\workspace\.metadata.
In this folder there is a text document file or u can say that is .log file..
From which u can get all the error....and rectify your error after reading that from log file.
Thanks

Hi,
There is some problem in your log file only,so do the following steps, surely it works....
First Close your NWDS.
1) Go to NWDS installation directory, take a backup of your projects from the workspace and delete the .metadata folder from the workspace.
2) Then open the NDS, a new .metadata folder will be created and now you can try opening the NWDS it will open without error
3)Sometimes when your metadata of the NWDS is corrupted then your NWDS will not function properly.
4)Restart ur machine, then its works properly

In you IDE installaton folder, there will be configuration folder.
Inside that folder there will be a ".log" file.
Check that file for errors.
And yes as mentioned earlier do check if JDK is installed.
