Printing error.......

Dear all,

Hii i am a basis consultant.

The print of gate pass is printing correctly in dot matrix printer but the same print is not printing some data when taken in laserjet printer the fields are kept blank.

See the attached two images AA and BB .

The BB file shows all data is printing correctly from DOT matrix printer but in case of laserjet AA print is coming leaving blank spaces in preview and print also.

Output Device

1) Laser Jet

      VPPC_LJ5200        

      Device Type :- SWIN
      Access Method :- F type

2) Dot Matrix

          Output Device        MM_E1070

          Device Type :- EPESCP9

          Access Method :- F type

Kindly guide me with the below problem as user wants to print this gate pass in both the printers.

Hi Prasad,

It is issue with page alignment with printers.

You ask ABAPer to align the smartform or sapscript to suit the alignment for both types of printers.

Other alternative is to create separate program for team using Laserjet.
