Hello,

this indicates that the page length the printer is using (=number of lines at given LPI) does not match the actual length of the endless-form paper.

If you print via Windows printer driver (device type SAPWIN, SWINCF etc in SAP), you need to specify the exact page length in the Windows printer driver settings. The driver cannot detect this automatically.

If you are using native Epson device types (e.g. EPESCP), you need to select the proper page format in the SAPscript/SMart Form. Page length is set in the corresponding device type format via Epson escape sequence.

Dear Alex,

Thanks for your response.

Now we had changed Device type to SAPWIN and then print is coming properly but in next print text is moving vertically.

Ajay

As said before, when printing to a dot matrix printer via SAPWIN and Windows printer driver, you need to ensure that the correct exact page length is selected in the Windows printer driver settings. So check the Windows printer driver for the Epson dot matrix printer, there must be a way to control the page length there. The vertical move happens because the paper advances more ( or less) than the actual page length of the continuous form paper.

Hi Ajay,

You please check the Page size what you mention in smart form and check the setting for printer in Print Preferences.
