Hello KM gurus,
I am creating a new predefined property in KM, of type Date, and I have a question about the Default Value field. Is there a way to make the default value of the property one year from the created date? Or if this cannot be specified within the Default Value field of the predefined property, can we accomplish functionality like this using an XML form?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Fallon
Hi Fallon,
You can achieve this functionality by developing a property filter.
If you implement the property filter, when the document will be created, it will keep the value as per your desire (e.g. one year from the date created)
You can get step by step information about how to create a filter in the given link -

Hello Sudip,
Great white paper! Thank you very much for your help. I have developed custom repository services before, but a repository filter fits our need even better. I'll look into this right away.
Thanks again for your help, and thanks for contributing your knowledge and experiences to the SDN and BPX communities.
Kindest regards,
Fallon
