prblm to start after parameter change

Hi All,

I have changed some parameters, for which i have to take restart.

when i restarted sever , its giving message as " Instance on host MDECCSAN started" gettting started but unable to login from GUI.

i have checked the profiles and restored the instance profile which has been changed to .bak, renamed it and tried again, but still the same problem.

Kindly suggest waht could be the reason.

Hi ,

Please check the connectivity with your database.It seems via lig that there is problem in databse connection.Please check if it is running.if not start the database.

In case databse unable to start then check R3trans -d & it will generate a log file trans.log.Please send extract from trans.log to assist you further.

Is that all the info in dev_w0?... seems like you pasted the info after the error but not the error itself.

As said by Juan ,please post dev_w0 & dev_disp logs from work directory to assist you further.

Also plz let us know what are parameter did you changed.
