POWL Query Custom Views - No longer available ?

Hello Experts,

We have recently migrated our ECC system from EHP 4 to EHP 6 SP12.We have setup few default POWL Querys using which the users can copy and create their own queries. Post migration noticed that the POWL query's user defined views have been blown away and all the queries are now reset to standard/default views.

Checked sdn but could not find any more info ().There were a couple of OSS notes but none related to custom views of POWL query.

Is there a way to restore these custom views ? I would have imagined there would be some way these user specific view settings would have been captured in the particular Query ID (which is user specific).

You may need to implement the SAP Note 2100022 to fix the issue!

Hi,

Check if you have activated all objects after implementing the Note! And check the syntax error source. Raise an OSS to SAP if necessary.

Raised an issue with SAP and they have now issued version 3 for the note 2100022.

Have implemented it now. Unfortunately we cant recreate the issue (User layouts were lost when upgraded to Ehp 6), with the only hope that this note implementation will overcome any such issues in the near future.
