Portal Runtime Error

Hi,

I am working in .Net PDK 1.0 Patch 3 hotfix-1 in EP 6 SP14. I am getting the following portal runtime error:

Portal Runtime Error

An exception occurred while processing a request for :

iView : pcd:portal_content/com.kimball.kimball/com.kimball.ofg.ofg/edi/roles/com.kimball.ofg.order_management/Dealer_Preferences

Component Name : com.kimball.ofg.order.DealerPreferences_DealerPreferences

iView cannot display.

Could not connect to the .NET runtime server.

Contact your administrator if the problem persists.

Possible reasons:

1. The Portal Runtime for .NET service is not running or installed.

2. The '.NET Runtime Servers Configuration' property of 'iViewProcessorService' service is not correct. Check the syntax of server nodes, hosts and ports settings.

These iviews were working fine before. The error is also erratic. At times I am able to login, but most of the time I get this error. I restarted the PDK service so many times, but still I am getting this error.

Please let me know how to rectify this.

Hi,

Did you upgrade the portal?

PDK for .NET 1.0 Patch 3 is meant to work with SP12.

For SP14 you should be working with PDK for .NET 2.0.
