Portal Log off not possible

Hi,

I could not log off from Portal, EP 7.0. Even the log in time is at times very long.

How can I resolve these issues?

Which browser are you using? We are seeing this when using IE7.

I am using IE6 but I know IE7 has also problem. Do you know how can we rectify this?

Pls check if any pops ups are blocked. if its so , then Keep Ctrl pressed and then click on log off. Till the time u see login screen.

Hi,

So evry user is having such problem or only ur Desktop.you have IE 6 go to tools->privacy->advance->click on override session cookies->always allow session cookies..

HI Santosh,

Actually me and some of my colleagues have this problem. After making the modifications in IE6 options as you said, there is difference. I want to check this with all of the users.

I also want to wait for couple of days on this, check if the problems persists.

Hi,

For logoff, are you using fully qualified domain names (host.domain.com)?

As for login, what kind of user repository are you using (LDAP, UME, ABAP or combination) ?

HI Marc,

Yes, I am using host.domain.com:port/xxx for portal access. And we have only ABAP Data Source as User Repository.

Previously Log Off was very slow and now Log off never happens. The Log off pop up that opens when we click log off option- keeps loading and never closes down again.

The overall portal performance is good except during the log off(never logs off) and Login (very slow logging in).
