Hi Experts,
Im a HR person. I have the doubt regarding the Portal RFC call. Consider I have one portal screen and it has the button like "click here for details". Now when user click the button some screen will displayed. Now I want to know how the screen was called and from where the screen is designed?
Whats going on in background? How can I identify the process?
Thanks in advance,
All helps will be highly appreciated.
Hi Nandini,
Basically portal is only user interface.
We can customize portal screens using Netweaver development studio .
NWDS will use(call) RFC/BAPI from backend system to implement logic ( displaying the button like "click here for details". Now when user click the button some screen will displayed).
We normally call RFC/BAPI in NWDS using Adaptive RFC Model.
We can develop those applications using Webdynpro java/webdynpro abap or visual composer tool.
See the links related to webdynpro
ESS/MSS development using webdynpro java
Points are welcome if it is helpful
