PO IDoc Adapter Monitor: Metadata Monitor Problems

Hello all together,

I'm relatively new to SAP PI/PO and trying to set up a scenario with a IDoc Sender. I have some problems with the IDoc Metadata Monitor.

1) The first problem or question I have is this:

As you can see in the image below, there is no System or Application release. In we20 of my sender system I have specified these as 750 618. Why isn't this showing here?

2) The second issue I have is related to the same image above:

I have a communication channel with Adapter Type IDOC_AAE wich is used in an iFlow with an interface of the corresponsing IDoc Type. However my communication channel doesn't shwo up here. Again the question: Why?

3) If I click on Preload, regardless of the Connection Type, I only can choose from 7 IDoc types. There should be many more.

MBGMCR03 isn't even in this list.

So here's the question: Where do these IDoc Types come from and how do I get the rest of the existing IDoc Types to select here?

About your questions

1. It's the same for me. Acutally I haven't noticed until now. I wouldn't care too much. As IDocs metadata are stored per Business System on PI only one IDoc Version from a specific BS can come to PI at a time. If the type changes, you might need to reload the IDoc Metadata, though. As almost all of the time, IDoc will pe backwards compatible (only new fields - no deletions / rename of fields) you will be fine

2. That depends your configuration (NWDS / IB). Only IDocs that flow over Channel of type IDoc_AAE will be listed there. If you haven't an iFlow / ICo for your desired IDoc type yet, it won't show.
