This is a re-cycled request from 2009, originally made by "Tomaz" who said
Hello!
I use asa 9.02 and I use SybaseCentral. I would like to put all database objects (tables,functions....) in groups.
Let say I have tabels, functions, procedures,trigers,views... about articles and I would like to put all of them in group articles. And under articles I would like to see groups of object types (tabels, views...)
It would be really useful to be able to group (or filter) objects in Sybase Central into workspaces or projects, so rather than trailing through thousands of objects, you can have those you are using easily at hand, or arranged into sensible categories.
I think there would have to be the ability to have objects appearing in multiple groups. These groups would be quite distinct from the concept of ownership and would have no security implications.
Request clarification before answering.
I agree. I am thinking you could "tag" or label either individual tables, views, objects etc. or whole groups of them and then search on and/or simply view everything with a certain tag. I think the new On Demand product supports such tagging but at a much higher (entire databases) level -- e.g. tagging some databases as beta testers vs others tagged as production vs others tagged as test.

stronly agree. It's even better than "extended search" idea
