A recent upgrade on the flash player to 10.1.102.64 is affecting the mouse-over function of some pie charts. The numerical value of the various parts of the pie chart is no longer displaying the values when users place the mouse over the pie chart. The mouse tip has to be positioned at the boarder of the chart to trigger the values to be displayed
Initial suggestions to remove the pie chart from the dashboard and rebuild it fixed this issue for a couple of dashboards a month ago. However this dashboard in question has 7 pie chart and the earlier fix does not solve the issue for the mouse hover error. Other suggestions to point the chart to different cells in the spreadsheet, run the dashboard and re-point it back to the initial cell; doesnu2019t fix this issue either.
Has anybody encountered this issue? Can someone explain why this particular dashboard and the few other which have been in production for over 6 months, suddenly have such issues? We are using Xcelsius 2008 Sp3 with no fix pack.
Thanks for the responds Ken.
I tried upgrading the flash player all the way to 10.3.181.26, but still had the same issues with the pie charts. I still do not know why this issue is present in this particular dashboard and not the other dashboard as well. I am trying to investigate why this is the only exception since this dashboard was designed and moved to production around the same time with the same version of Xcelsius and Flash player as the others.
Any further suggestions are welcome.

Hi,
For a quick test, you may want to consider upgrading your Adobe Flash Player version to at least 10.1.82.76 or higher.
There are some known issues with older version of Flash 10.1.xx.xx with Xcelsius 2008 with SP3.
Try upgrading Flash on one machine and see if it helps.
Regards,
Ken
