Phonetic Matching Rule

Hi Experts,

Any body knows how to use equals but in a phonetic way, because I want to compare 2 records, Record A: Jhon and Record B; John.

Is there any way to do that? like Soundex function in sql server.

Am not sure about Soundex function. Are you trying to compare records after filtering them ?

Definitely You can perform comparison but just trying to understand on your requirement ? can u pls elaborate a little more.

I dont think you can compare records phonetically !
