Hi All,
We use PGP encryption and decryption for interfaces in our SAP PO system. The interfaces were running fine till very recently. In our quality system the messages fail with the below error.
PGP Encryption Module: Could not extract private key (org.bouncycastle.openpgp.PGPException: Exception creating cipher) Error MP: exception caught with cause org.bouncycastle.openpgp.PGPException: Exception creating cipherError Exception caught by adapter framework: Exception creating cipher
There is no change in the configuration at PO , the only recent change is a system update for java component which was taken care of by BASIS team.
I have gone through other blogs with PGP issues and check this note 2336521 - Manual check for JCE jurisdiction policy files strength and JVM compatibility as well. The limited and unlimited files are available and have not been modified by the system update.
Please advise if any suggestions regarding how to resolve this issue.
A screenshot of the error is also added for your reference.
Thank you.
Hi Tina,
Did you also checked this note 2414542 - Internal PGP Error: Illegal key size
If everything is correct according as per note check if your keys present in OS folder paths or ask basis the system restart and give a try again.
Regards

Hi Pavan,
The BASIS team have tried to check http://<host>:<port>/BC//VerifyJCE but this is not accessible. This link is not accessible even from the environment where the encryption is working. Please let me know if this required additional enabling.
The keys are present in the folder paths and system has been restarted .
