Hello,

I have a complex MDI app, which utilizes the resize function on a active sheet.

When the function is launched, the PB (and runtime) crashes with this message (windows report pasted below):

//------------------------------------

Faulting application name: PB150.EXE, version: 15.0.0.1507, time stamp: 0x526e28c7

Faulting module name: PBVM150.dll, version: 15.0.0.1507, time stamp: 0x527a0203

Exception code: 0xc0000005

Fault offset: 0x0018cfb8

Faulting process id: 0x22260

Faulting application start time: 0x01cefb1891cc8852

Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sybase\PowerBuilder 15.0\PB150.EXE

Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sybase\Shared\PowerBuilder\PBVM150.dll

//----------------------------------

Any ideas on how to workaround this?

Hi Arcady,

Would you have a test application that would show this crashing?

I just tried to repro this with the PB Example Application and the 'Resizing Controls on a Window' example and I did not crash.    Could you try the PB example and see if that also crashes for you?

Thanks,

Pat

I can reproduce the case in a small project. Does anyone know how I can upload it here?

UPD:

Actually, I did not do anything complicated this time.

I created an empty MDI Frame with a menu. Then I created an empty window (w_test) and put just one line in it's open event:

post resize(4000, 3000)

Then I put the following line in the MDI open event: post open(w_test, this)

When I ran the app, it crashed.

Hi Arcady,

I just tried to repro the crash with the info you have above and it is not crashing for me.

Please try zipping up the small project and uploading it here:

Thanks, Pat

Hi Arcady,

Thanks for uploading the testcase.  I have replicated the error, yesterday I was using Open and the crash happens in the testcase with OpenSheet.

I have opened CR 753497 and it should be looked into.

Thanks for reporting this bug!

Pat
