Payroll connection to S/4HANA RISE

Hi Experts,

We have a EC Payroll System and a S/4HANA system on RISE we want to connect and integrate both systems but because the S/4 HANA is a private system the RFC connections to that system doesnt work for remote systems so how we can connect the systems between? The S/4 can reach the payroll system by a SAPRouter but the EC Payroll cant reach the S/4 System. We can create a SR to open the connection to RISE? Or maybe we need another way to success the connection?

We have the same requirement not sure if solution has been figured on the approach, we too have S/4 on RISE private cloud, and the RFC do not work directly from ECP system to S/4 RISE system.

Hi,

SAP Router is offered as a managed service even for your S/4HANA system in RISE. The same approach (SAP Router based connectivity) is possible for EC Payroll to connect to S/4HANA RISE - both are ABAP systems technically. You should perhaps check with your RISE contacts (TSM/CDM) to open connectivity from ECP to S/4HANA RISE.
