Passing current date time to parameters.

Hi,

This is what I want to achieve:

I am using command object having 2 parameters Start date and end date. I want the users to see by default the system date as the start date and previous date as the end date in the drop down option. Basically a specific hour window, say 24 hour, to filter data.

Can I achieve this? If yes how? Can you please tell me if I can pass current date time (System date) as a parameter?

As per thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/1958644 it was expected to be included in future products. Has it been done yet?

I am using CR2011 (v-14.0.2.364). Oracle DB.

Thanks.

Hi Vijay,

You cannot really set a dynamic default date in the date parameters as of now.

So, the answer to your question is No; you would need to handle this somehow in the Record Selection Formula.

Also, this could be made available in future releases and I'm not sure how long that'll take.

Why not post this as an Enhancement Request at http://ideas.sap.com?
