Parallel loading?

hi,

I have got 4 data targets which are getting the data from the same Infopackage. When we schedule the data loading, Does the data enters all the data targets in prallel or in sequential order. Is that parallelism in loding is pertained only to a particula r data target?

If the data loading is sequential, can we control the loading sequence of the data targets?

Cheers,

Ram.

Ram,

in the situation described, all providers will be updated in parallel and this is a normal situation...

you can obtain a sequential loading only with some tricks with process chain (loading only in PSA and then into providers following a desired order/sequence)...

Hope it helps!

Hi Roberto,

How do we determine "How many parallel loadings can be done at a time?" ON what factors parallel loading depends?

When we want to load parallely into a data target then we split the infopackage into Packets in RSCUSCTV6. Likewise how do we control parallel loading in to different data targets at a time?

You have to talk to your basis team in order to know how many batch processes are allowed in your application server (this is the techical constraint!)
