We had recently experienced page formatting changes all of a sudden. These reports were not modified nor changed but all of a sudden when users run the reports or if a developer open it in design the page setup was changed from landscape to portrait. Also, for the same object if another developer open it, it is fine for that one person.
Is there a individual setting or local setting for page setup?
Ok, I've tried changing the option to 'No Printer' selected. Send it to another user that has Crystal report and the page setup still is wrong.
These reports were not changed before was wondering why all of a sudden all the page setup changed?
Thanks again

now that we know that this is happening on the .rpt level (and not on the web application level) hopefully someone with the knowledge on a fix can help you out...not sure myself.
one other thing that you may wish to ask the recipient of the report so that someone out there may be able to help is this: when the recipient opens the report and goes to the File > Page Setup dialogue...is the report still set on No Printer, or did it default to another setting.

hello,
open the report in the Crystal Reports designer and go to the File menu > Page Setup and click on No Printer. what is most likely happening is that the report is grabbing the default printer settings for the users.
i am assuming that in this case that you are not using an application, but just distributing a report. if you are using an application and this behaviour is only happening in your application, please repost the question to the appropriate sdk forum.

The reports are being deployed using a web application.
However, even opening up in the designer the report setup were changed. It used to be landscape and it's for 11X17 and all of a sudden looks like it got defaulted to potrait and for letter size.
We will try changing in the designer and see this will help.
Do you have other suggestions for the running the reports via the web application?
Thanks again for your help
after you have changed the print setting in the .rpt itself and if you are still experiencing the same behaviour:
1) first, try to see if just the .rpt itself is changing...i.e. send the report with saved data to someone that is experiencing the issue that also has crystal reports installed. if it is still happening in the crystal reports designer itself, then it is an issue for this forum.
2) if it is only happening in the web application, then you will want to repost to the appropriate sdk forum.
