We have configured the Oracle Dataguard on our SAP DB (19c). We are able to see the sync is happening between both Primary and Standby.
Primary Server Virtual Name :
Standby Server Virtual Name :
Problem : In Default Profile, we have maintained the parameter "SAPDBHOST=".
So when we do the failover of DB(Primary --> Standby). After the Failover my Standby becomes Primary. But in Default Profile (--> earlier primary server) is maintained. so application will fail to connect to DB.
So we want to know How can we define one unique name (dbSID) which always points to Primary DB (whether it is 00 or 01 node) ?
