Open hub with multiples sources but target one file

Hello Experts,

I have a scenario where tws dsos are sending data to open hub and thereon to file on server. Is it possible for both dsos to write data to the same file?

Points will be assigned.

Kevin.

Try APD(Analysis Process Designer).

Hi Kevin,

data will get overwritten.

If you are working in 7.3, you can create multi provider on top of these 2 DSO and we can extract data from multi provider to open hub using DTP.

If you are working in 7.0, then you should go with appending the fields.

Hi,

It can be done through a program to append the data. Else the data will be overwritten

Hope this helps,

Any idea of the code to append to file?

Hi,

In code you just need to select data from the join of the DSO active table and store it in an internal table. From that internal table you can transfer data to the file through function module which takes input as internal table and writes the data in the file(you can use GUI_Upload and GUI_Download function modules or better you consult your ABAP colleagues to do that).

or

You can use multiprovider over those DSOs and then create a open hub on that.
