Dear,

in standard ods you will be having 3 tables, active data, change log table and activation queue...

after activation of data in standard ods, you will be having data in change log table(for furthur transmission) and active.(for reporting).

once have look to http://help.sap.com/saphelp_bw33/helpdata/en/10/54853b175d214ee10000000a11402f/frameset.htm

for standard ods objects have look to

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/03/c97842b180c153e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

for general ods defination have look to

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/f9/45503c242b4a67e10000000a114084/content.htm

Wheras in transactional ods, you can have transaction data only.

there are no such tables, which are present in standard ods.

Transactional ods was delivered with bi3.5

for transactional ods... please refer

defination

vinay

if your ods is zods1

you have a table for new data /bic/azods140

a table for active data /bic/azods100

and a change log table (table generated /bic/b0000... progressive)

when you load data all records are insert in new data table

when you activate date in change log you have the old and the update record,

in active data table you have only the current data and the new data table is empty.

...ods table is similar to R/3 table and you must store a big quantity of date, but if you create a report using an ods the performance is very poor.

you must load data from ods to cube...

if help its please assign points
