Please Provide some Basic funda's about NWDI. n tell me where it used while working wiith NWDS. V can use NWDI in EP. I have gone throgh all da documents which are placed in SDN. but i didnt understood whether it is using in EP or NWDS. Could u plz give me some basic idea about NWDI and DTR.

Hi,
in a nutshell, NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS) is your IDE to develop J2EE applications, portal applications, etc. for SAP NetWeaver (Java only). The NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI or JDI) is a set of tools provided by SAP to support java developers during the entire software lifecycle process. For example the Design Time Repository (DTR) as one part of the JDI is used to manage your source code.
Please have a look into the SAP Library to find out more about NWDS and NWDI.
