Hi All,
I am using NWDI 7.00 SP21 to implement custom code. I created a java DC and developed some custom code to create a web service.
1st time the activity check in and activation was fine and everything worked ok.
2nd time I created a new activity to put some changed, in this time I had to change a custom jar file and replace it with a new one.
During this process when I deleted the old jar file, I got some build errors (which is due to missing classes of course) and I added new jar file after which all missing classes issue was gone and build was successful.
When I checked in this activity, the activation failed due to build errors.
Now for the following activity (3rd one) activation has again failed as the 2nd one was predecessor to the 3rd activity.
Now my issue is, in NWDI I am not able to activate the new activities. Though there are no build errors.
I had faced this issue in past but somehow one of the new activity was successfully activated. but later in CMS -> Assembly tab, the component assembly failed and ever since I am unable to Assemble the component now via NWDI.
How can I now get rid of the failed activity and how can I assemble the component successfully in CMS - Assembly tab.
Please could someone help.

Hi,
Once the Assembly is success / failure, the logs will be available in CMS System with which you can narrow down the error.
Did you try checking them ?
In case you are facing some challenges with how-to-access these logs, pls refer to the [link|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/JSTSG/%28NWDI%29%28CMS%29Q0015]
Try sharing the log so that we can narrow down the same.
Regards,
Vijay.

Hi Vijay
I had checked the logs and it showed 1 DTR conflict in Consolidation track.
I checked in NWDS Integration conflict view, and it does show up any conflicts.
How can I check whats wrong and how to fix it.
Once I have figured out, whats wrong then I can try creating a new activity to resolve the error.
Thanks
Hi Darren Stone,
To my understanding, this might not be an Integration Conflict...
This conflict can be encountered due to some issues in code level also.
In the DTRu2019s Web UI you can open the Conflict Search:
DTR Web UI-->System tools --> Reports -->Conflict Searchu2026and based on various conflicts states listed, you can check for the Open Conflicts and see the details of the same..
If you face any challenges during this activity, pls refer the following [link|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/f0bb614d-2848-2a10-52a7-b5000043b475?QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true]
Regards,
Vijay.
