NWBC 5.0 - Startup issue - The 'slc' attribute is invalid"

My NWBC 50 was NOT starting up. Or more precisely, what I am getting is the NWBC 5 PL 2 splash screen, extra humming sound from the laptop, and then 15++ minutes it will die.  Was wondering whether anybody is aware of what I am missing: I guess it's having an issue with the SAPUILandscape.xml file; but I just have no idea what it's.

  This is the suspicious entries II found in the trace file. Notice the last line will repeat (slc attribute is invalid) will just keep on repeating itself.

This is what I have checked so far (without success)

a) Met all pre-req (MS .NET 4.5; MS VC 2012 etc

b) SAPGUI 7.40 - The sapgui logon pad does that 20++ minutes to load; but it does comes out eventually ...

Just FYI ... Found out the issues (many thanks to Vasil Bachvarov suggestion). Basically my conversion of the nwbcoptions and all the sapgui ini files to the newer NWBC\SAPGU7.40 config are NOT successful; resulting in a lot of duplicated entries.

My current workaround, delete the entries inside the converted files (i.e. SAPUILandscape.XML config files in my local directory); and start from scratch. Not the preferred solution I was looking for; but at least it allow me to proceed with the testing until I could figure out what is the source of conversion that cause the failure or until some better solution comes along ...

i have the same issue as what you describe above. After I installed NWBC 5.0 the icon showed up but it never launch the logon page. I wonder how you eventually resolve that?

Did you just update the SAPUILandscape.XML  contents and it worked? Appreciate if you can share your resolution.
