NWA Default Trace logs severity level is error for As JAVA application.

Dear Team,

Could any one help me to change the severity level for As JAVA applications, please find the below .png image highlighted, from java code I have set severity level as severe, warning.. but still NWA Default Trace logs severity level is error. I want to change NWA severity level for my particular JAVA application.

Hello Surendra,

You can set the trace severity through NWA or with Configtool.

In Configtool : template ->log configuration ->categories/locations

In NWA: ToubleShooting > Logs and Traces > Log Configuration > select Tracing Locations
Here You can select the desired component and select the severity from the dropdown menu. If you want this severity to be relevant to its children log controllers, choose Copy To Sub-Tree.

Please keep the more severe trace settings only for the time You need (e.g. for testing or issue reproduction) because the high logging activity can cause fastly growing trace files and performance problems.

Thanks for your reply, I have done the changes as you said i.e. NWA: ToubleShooting > Logs and Traces > Log Configuration > select Tracing Locations. NWA defaultTrace logs severity level still coming as error.
