Hi,

Approver is getting the below error when he is trying to open the attachment on a workitem in UWL.

" You are not authorized to use Transaction SWF_OBJ_EXEC_CL".

Is there any particular role we should assign to solve this issue?

Thanks,

Sivagami

hi Sivagami,

any Idea what tcode SWF_OBJ_EXEC_CL does for users, i would like to know more about this tccode, like what it does and at what object it gives authority check.

i checked for the objects, however it does not call for any authorization object..still it gives error for user with this transaction code at the time of opening attachment at UWL.

any information related to this thread would highly appreaciated.

Thanks!

Hi,

Please show this error to an authorisation specialist. He will be able to easily identify which role or which authorization is needed or whatever. You can probably easily check this also by yourself just by checking transaction SU53 immediately after the error. Probably it is enough to give just the authorisation for the user.

Check also this thread:

Hi,

I have checked this. It is for SAP_BASIS release 700. Ours is 701.

thanks,

IF your system is up to date, then it is all about authorisations. Just check the SU53. Does it show the error? If yes, doesn't it show which roles include the missing authorisations? Or do an authorisation trace with ST01.

But even if you will find out the missing role or whatever, if I was you I would delegate this issue to an authorisation responsible person. I wouldn't just start giving roles to users, if you don't know what else these roles include. Or if you want to give the authorisation to this missing transaction, the authorisation person will know to which role to add it.
