No RSINFO Idoc comming from ECC

Hello all,

We're being faced with a rather strange problem:

When extracting (master) data from ECC to BI, the request remains yellow in RSMO. The reason for this is that there seem to be missing messages (requests received, number of sent records, selection completed). These should come via a RSINFO Idoc from ECC, but this Idoc is not sent at all. In the partner profile on both BI and ECC, this Idoc is entered right.

A connection check from RSA1 is successful, and we've already tried reactivating and restoring the source system. Both actions did not solve the issue.

Can anybody shed some light on this problem? Thanks in advance!

Hey. Have you checked to see if there is a TRFC pile up in ECC? You should be able to use SM58 to see if they are there and not executed, etc... Also, I would check ECC to see if there are idoc errors. It is possible those particular idocs are consistently getting errors and that's why they aren't being sent.

I would also check the idoc inbounds in BW to see if they are being received but not processed for whatever reason.

Please let us know if you do not find anything with those checks.

We've checked SM58 and there is nothing waiting there. In WE05 in ECC there are only incoming RSRQST (all status 53), but no outgoing RSINFO or RSSEND. In WE05 in BW, there are only outgoing RSRQST, no incoming RSINFO or RSSEND.Seems like the RSINFO and RSSEND are not generated at all. Can you think of an explanation for this?

The problem was solved after disabling some customer code in an user-exit.
