HI,

In order to check whether variable exits or not u do not require sample UDF u can do it with the XI standard function.

Exists and createIF function for creating the target node if the value exists at the source end.

Check out the link for more information:

Hi,

The value can not be passed to R3 system without Lookup. You need to use the UDF and pass that value to R3 system using the java code which is wirtten in ur UDF.

There is no other way u can achieve this.

Please refer the blog as they are the best help which can give u guidence in order to implement the same.

U read them and let me know what u did not understood.

Thnx

Hi,

You can refer to these links.

Use first one for RFC lookups and also for Java Code/

/people/alessandro.guarneri/blog/2006/03/27/sap-xi-lookup-api-the-killer Absolute stealer.

/people/siva.maranani/blog/2005/08/23/lookup146s-in-xi-made-simpler

For Java APIs and also here you can map that how many types of lookups are possible in XI.
