Navigational attributes and Texts?

Hi,

There were Display attribtues for End Customer and Cutomer like Country and Region.But as per the end users requirements I changed them to Navigational attribtues.

But in my Report for this COuntry and Region it is just displaying as for Country as US and for Region as US/CA but actually it supposed to display as United states and Ontario.

Can any one help me how to get those descriptions.?

You need to load text for your country and region fields and in the reports you need to choose display as text instead of key.

or

If you have already loaded text check in your query if you have made display text.

Yes there are texts maintained for those attributes.And also it is selected as Text in report then also I am getting same .

Can you check in RSRT if the text is getting displayed or not.

If its displaying correctly here try log out and login.

Hi Vasu,

Please check if text is maintianed for those values, and HACR is complete.

If both the above mentioned condition are ok, then check in transformation, as to which Text is maintianed ie Short text or Long text, and check in query if the same text is mainitianed this descripancy usually leads t display key value inplace of text in reports.

I think you need to change those fields as nav. Attr. on your datatarget as well.

Hi,

Did you checked properties of these attributes maitained properly in "Business explorer" for this infoobjects.

it should be "Key and text".

Sorry the texts for Region and Country are not maintained in the tables.

I think that is the reason why we are not getting these in our query riight?

Yes if the values are not maintained then it will not show up in the reports.

hI,

In the change mode of the infoobject, goto Bex Explorer tab and make the foll. settings:

1. Display: Text

2.Text Type : Long Text.
