My infoset returns no data

Hello BW experts,

This must be a stupid question, but I am already desperate.

I have created an InfoSet, to read data from one Single InfoObject. The InfoObject has already master data, but the Query doesn’t returns data.

I wonder if I am missing anything?

Hi!

While defining infosets you need to take care of joins,right.you have created an infoset with one single masterdata object.it does make any sense.so try with inersting that characteristic as datatarget in your infoproviders and biuld a query on that.........i think this will helps you...if it..... award points.

can more detail what's the master data ? the data for that master-data active ? time-dependent ?

if you are in bw 3.x, can you set the master data infoobject as 'infoprovider' ? transaction rsd1, change infoobject, in tab 'business explorer', mark 'characteristic as infoprovider' or from rsa1->infoprovider->cursor on your infoarea->right click insert characteristic as infoprovider.
