can somebody explain why a break-point in my code in an update or start routine would casue an entry to the log when loading data? I've had these before and should not be hit if running in back-ground.

Hi Immich,

Did u hard-code the break-point? well, it shud not affect any log. What u mean by entry to log?

yes I did hard-code. Basis is looking at a log and it is putting an entry in for every one

Well, if you want to hardcode, just check for the username.

Put a if condition to check the username, and if its you, then you can have the break point. Well, am not very sure why its creating a log entry. But you can probably avoid this with the workaround i suggested.

where do I put the code to allow me to have break-points? I would think this would be in the log code somewhere.

The place where you have hardcoded your breakpoint. Same place, just put a check on user id. The sy-uname will have the username. So check whether the value is equal to ur name and then put a breakpoint inside the condition.
